As a visual artist, I earned my Fine Arts degree from California Institute of the Arts, majoring in Film Video and Photography. My journey began at a young age with photography, fostering my interest in filmmaking. At CalArts, I delved deep into both film and photo, gaining foundational knowledge and skills that shaped my growth as an artist. Learning directly from established filmmakers, I created exhibition work, short films, collaborated on various sets, refining my craft and enhancing my understanding of visual storytelling.

My work focuses both on fictional narrative and documentary work. I prioritize color, image, sound texture, and emotion. I find a personal desire to tell stories that are not often told. Whether they are grand or intimate, memories create the images in the stories that inspire us.

My most recent short film, Everything is Fine, that I am still expanding on, uses personal narratives from those who have faced antisemitism and hate in my hometown. I chose to create this personal piece of work to document hate, contrasting elements of an everyday idyllic American small-town with voiceovers describing personal stories of hate.
